Guys, I think we made it. That summery stretch of heat is finally subsiding and fall is in our future (finally). As fall’s number one fan, you better believe I’m ready for it all — pumpkins, cool temps, jewel tones, tailgating, soup, sweaters, boots… Since it’s supposed to be feeling like fall by the weekend, I wanted to help transition your mind into autumn with some fall outfit inspiration. Fringe has been a huge trend this year, starting this spring. From unfinished denim hems to frayed sleeves, chances are you have something fringe in your closet. This trend certainly hasn’t stopped for fall, with fringe being incorporated into our favorite cold-weather style — sweaters.
I recently picked up the cutest fringe-trimmed sweater from J. Crew in the prettiest shade of burgundy. It’s comfortable, flattering and definitely going to be my most-loved sweater this fall. Although I’ll pair it with jeans more often than not, I decided to mix it up for a sassier styling. I paired it with my favorite little windowpane skirt (an oldie, but goodie), some over the knee boots, statement earrings and simple accessories. After all, I did want to show off my new fall fringe.
